This lab facility is used to perform different diagnoses of hematological disorders, including count of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, as well as comprehensive routine tests like hemoglobin and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The lab was also supplied with a complete blood count instrument.

In a separate section, the blood bank section is responsible for blood typing, cross matching, and antibody screening tests.
